Get to know Joe!

Hey neighbor! I’m Joe Griffith and I’ve served as the volunteer commissioner for Phoebus for seven years. My career as a defense contractor and interactive museum designer has anchored me in Hampton where I proudly serve on several boards, commissions, and neighborhood-serving groups.

I’m running for City Council to make Hampton a place where small businesses thrive, every neighborhood is safe, and young people feel proud, secure, and optimistic about their future here.

I have a proven track record of bringing together diverse groups of Hamptonians and winning major victories that improve peoples’ lives. I’ll keep listening and showing up, as I always have, because I see you and what matters in your day-to-day life. It’s time for a fresh perspective, and a brighter future, in local government.

If you believe that energy belongs in council chambers, and that Hampton’s best days are ahead, I’m asking for your support. I’m asking for your voice. I’m asking for your vote so we can build the future that Hampton deserves.
